The Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning is a central player in Kenya’s socio-economic development plan. Land is one of the key enablers of the ‘Big 4 Agenda’ and the Vision 2030. Land is acknowledged as a key determinant of social, economic and political transformation.
Although Kenya has had different regimes of land management since independence, it is only in 2019 that a definitive land policy was formulated.

1/2 The Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning joined the country in celebration of Africa Public Service Day (APSD) at KICC from 21st to 23rd June, 2022. This year’s theme focused on "Celebrating Public Service Transformation: Ten Years Journey and Beyond".


H.E. President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday officially launched the issuance of 1 million title deeds countrywide through the National Titling programme. This is part of the Government's Land Reforms agenda that aims at effective and efficient service delivery.
