The Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning is a central player in Kenya’s socio-economic development plan. Land is one of the key enablers of the ‘Big 4 Agenda’ and the Vision 2030. Land is acknowledged as a key determinant of social, economic and political transformation.
Although Kenya has had different regimes of land management since independence, it is only in 2019 that a definitive land policy was formulated.

CS Lands Farida Karoney on Wednesday led a consultative forum between the Ministry and members of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK).


Today CS @Faridakaroney was at @KTNNewsKE where she addressed the status, progress and perceived challenges in the Ardhisasa system.
She affirmed the Ministry's commitment to work with all stakeholders in ensuring full success of #Ardhisasa
